I am not just interested in explosives however, I am also interested in ENSA (the WW2 "Stars in Battledress")

ENSA stood for Entertainments National Services Association. During WW2 it was based at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.

To the troops it was known as "Every Night Something Awful"; to the artistes it was known as "Every Night Same Act".
